Apple today released the public beta of iOS and MacOS 10 Sierra, and if you want to test new versions of the company’s platforms before they are finalized, may already do this.
Below we explain how to access the beta platforms. But it’s always good to remember that tests versions usually have bugs – so think well before installing them.
To have the newest version of iOS 10 that has some very cool features such as the integration of Siri to apps and more, just go here and enter your Apple ID, to then receive an email from Apple with details.
Before installing, it is always good to make a backup of your data via iTunes, just to make sure you will not lose anything if something goes wrong during installation.
Apple says the beta of iOS 10 can be installed on any device with iOS 8.1.3 (if it is one of the compatible with the new system).
Already MacOS Sierra has among its main changes in the new name and Siri. To access the beta version of the platform, just go here and follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
Again: it is a beta version and bugs are not only present as are expected. The idea of a trial is that users help Apple to find flaws in the operating system, so it’s good to warn the company whenever you find something that does not work as it should.
And, being beta, the trend is that the new MacOS is unstable, so it’s not a good idea to use it on your main Mac – if you really want a lot test it, the suggestion is to use an old Mac for this.
IOS 10 will be released in September, while the MacOS Sierra comes in the last quarter of the year. It will not be long, so if you’re not really looking forward to the new features, it may be better to wait a bit.
