Fires are an unfortunate accident that .destroys property as well as lives. The first line of defense against them are the smoke detectors that cautions us about an impeding fire before it starts engulfing life and property.
But after a fire occurs there is not much a person can do due to all the blinding and non-breathable smoke and heat. To solve all these problems Safety iQ has come up with the ‘Saver’. The Saver reportedly lets a person breath amidst all that smoke with help of a builtin filtration unit consisting of three units- a pre-filter to catch all the smoke and dust, a hopcalite filter for neutralizing carbon monoxide, and a HEPA filter for trapping toxic
The ‘Saver’ comes with a 3-LED flashlight and an alarm system which will help the person to see in all that smoke and tell the firefighters about his/her position. According Safety iQ, the Saver should allow users to breathe easily in a burning building – with no long-term health effects – for up to five minutes. It has a shelf life of 3.5 years, and should be thrown out after its first use.
Safety iQ have a task on their hand. They need to have adequate funds for the production of ‘Saver’.The company has gone to Indiegogo to raise sufficient funds and if things go as planned then we would have a Saver in the market for US$49 for the filter only device and a filter/flashlight combo for US$75. But you would have to pledge US$45 for that.
