You can bind the Band to see information of steps, calories, distance, and information sleep, and measure heart rate, set alarms, and other settings.
However, there are some temporary problems and warn developers that owners of older bands may be affected by this update. And also warn that some new and secondary resources are not yet finalized, but guarantee that everything will be resolved in the next updates.
According to a post on the official blog app, they decided to “postpone these corrections to the scope changes is less and less work in the UI should be coded and tested for this release.”
They also published a list of the plans for the future and current limitations on the Mi Band 2:
- Set up to 10 alarms. At the moment you can set three. We need to do a big refactoring this feature in the application, so it can handle more alarms.
- Set the items displayed on the screen (such as distance, calories, etc.).
- Configure the behavior “lift-wrist-bright-view”
- Set activity reminder
- firmware update.
In addition, the developers claim that the application handles the calculations of calories and distance, obtained by Mi Band 2, with better results.
